Holiday Sleigh Rides! Sunday, 12/18! As soon as the Bronco game is over, we are sure all the neighbors will show up to ride the sleighs, hear christmas music, roast marshmellows, have a coffee, latte, or hot chocolate. We will have two sleighs this year and two caf machines! For those that don't watch the Broncos, the event starts at 4p.m. :)

Get New Trash Containers — Free!

We renewed our trash/recycle contract, and everyone is entitled to receive new sturdy, wheeled 96-gallon trash/recycle containers if they want them. Click here for more information and to sign up. (Note that signing up is not required; if you do nothing you would continue to do your trash/recycles exactly as you do now.)

Mountain Lions — and Bears! — in the Neighborhood

A neighbor reported seeing a mountain lion mother and cub in the area — and another caught a large bear in her trash at 2am (later documented on the news, so yes, this is for real). Do be careful!

Doggie Leash Law & Cleanup Reminders

Please remember your dogs must be on a leash at all times when not on your premises. See the Jeffco Leash Law here. Also please be sure to clean up after your pets. Neighbors yards and common areas are not doggie potties.

Foothills Secession Forms

Foothills Park & Recreation District has once again refused to negotiate in good faith with us to resolve our concerns. (Our concerns being that our local tax dollars should be spent locally and fairly; that their facilities are too remote for us to use; that they neglect maintenance of our park; and that they have refused to address any of these concerns.) In this most recent instance, in response to a motion by Keith Sutton, our mutual board member, Foothills actually voted 3-2 against negotiating in good faith with Mesa View. Independence remains our only viable option.

Forms to secede from Foothills were mailed to all owners on November 6th. Please get your form notarized (all owners) and return it to the HOA office. If you need the form, visit here to get a new one.
